Personal Care Assistance
Respectful, hands-on help with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and other daily living activities, always encouraging each person to do as much as they can for themselves.
Medication Administration
Safe, on-time medication administration and monitoring by trained staff, with careful documentation and communication with prescribers and pharmacies.
Nursing Services
Health monitoring, nursing assessments and coordination with physicians and specialists to support each resident's overall health and well-being.
Behavioral Support
Individualized, person-centered behavior support plans that promote positive behaviors, emotional stability and healthy coping skills.
Our Services
PsychStep Residential provides Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) waiver services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with complex medical, behavioral and psychiatric needs. Every service is delivered according to each individual's person-directed plan and coordinated with their service planning team.
Community Integration
Life skills training, outings and community activities, such as shopping, worship, recreation and social events, that help residents build confidence and stay connected to their community.
Care & Equipment Coordination
We arrange and coordinate dental care, adaptive aids and minor home modifications as outlined in each individual's plan.
Transportation
Reliable transportation to medical appointments, day programs, work, community activities and family visits.
Employment Services
Employment assistance and supported employment to help individuals explore their interests, find meaningful work and succeed on the job.
Respite Care
Short-term care that gives families and caregivers time to rest and recharge, knowing their loved one is safe and well supported.
Who We Serve
We serve children and adults enrolled in the HCS and TxHmL waiver programs who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, including individuals with co-occurring medical, behavioral or psychiatric needs.
Service Area
Serving Greater Houston, including Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Galveston, Austin, Colorado, Matagorda, Waller and Wharton Counties.
